Route 1 – Enjoy the Flowering of Cieza and the Ricote Valley in one morning

Nature is preparing to offer a unique spectacle and Agromarketing Experiencias Turísticas is ready to take you to experience it. The flowering of 2023 is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the beauty of the flowering fields of the municipality of Cieza, and also discover the Moorish landscape of the Ricote Valley.

Our Route 1 is a classic among the experiences we offer and is one of the most popular. An opportunity to wake up early and enjoy an excursion that will last until 2 pm. At 9 am is the best time to meet at the Meeting Point (BP Service Station in Cieza, Ascoy-Mula exit on the A-30 motorway) and begin this adventure together.

Our local guides will accompany you in small groups and depending on the number of registered visitors. The visit will be made in the visitors' own cars following the guide's car on a safari plan. An exciting way to easily access the flowering areas, making stops at the main viewing points for the guide's explanations and to take unforgettable photographs.

For those who prefer a more relaxed experience, a coach will depart from the meeting point on 25 and 26 February and 4 and 5 March for an additional 3 euro fee.

At around 11 a.m., visitors will enter the farm where the Cieza Peach Interpretation Centre is located after a short walk among the fruit trees. At the farm's facilities, they can take a break using the toilets, enjoy a country picnic with a torta de pan dormir, a typical sweet from Cieza, or buy artisan products in our shop.

The last two hours of the excursion will consist of a tour of the most unique places of the traditional orchard that are still preserved in the Ricote Valley. The Noria Grande de Abarán, the Alto de la Bayna viewpoint or the Salto de la Novia are some of the points of interest on the route until reaching Villanueva del Río Segura and its fertile orchard impregnated with the scent of hundreds of orange and lemon trees.
