The Flowering of Cieza is presented in Berlin

Hundreds of bags of oranges and tangerines and information brochures of the agrotourism project 'Experience Spain in Bloom' (www.floracion.es) were distributed to passers-by in the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin on the occasion of Fruit Logistica. 

The action is part of an initiative, selected by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism, which seeks to to highlight the emerging flowering tourism, to revalue the work of farmers and the quality of the agri-food products of these rural areas: Sunflowers, lavender, stone fruit, apple trees or citrus trees.

The Brandenburg Gate Berlin was the place chosen to surprise passers-by with the beauty of the flowering of the different crops of Spain and with the quality of its agri-food products, the objective of the agrotourism project 'Experience Spain in Bloom' (www.floracion.esHundreds of bags of oranges and mandarins from Spain and information leaflets were distributed in the emblematic square of the German capital where the Fruit Logistica Fair is being held this week, one of the most important events in the world for the agricultural sector.

The promotional action is the continuation of a similar activity carried out two weeks ago in the central squares of Madrid on the occasion of Fitur and which is part of the campaign 'Colors and Flavors of Spain Tour' which will tour the country with different initiatives. The aim is to highlight the work of the agricultural sector and the added value generated by the flowering of sunflowers, lavender, stone fruit, citrus or apple trees as a tourist attraction for rural areas and the quality of these agri-food products.

Specifically, Germany is one of the main target audiences both as a consumer of Spanish agri-food products and when choosing Spain as a holiday destination to enjoy nature tourism.

Presentation at Fruit Logistica 

Among the actions of the project 'Experience Spain in Bloom' that will be announced at the Fruit Logistica Fair, the launch of the Club Spain in Bloom with the entities and companies that promote flowering tourism throughout the country, which already includes municipalities such as Cieza, Aitona or Calanda, the Association of Municipalities of the Jerte Valley or IGP Pacharán Navarro; the creation of a quality brand, technological tools such as the mobile application of all the blooms, a Traveling Interpretation Centre of the Blooms of Spain or the portal www.floracion.es to attract potential visitors.

The project 'Experience Spain in Bloom', coordinated by the Murcian company Agromarketing Spain (www.agromarketing.es), was selected by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism as one of the most innovative tourist experiences in the country with European funds from the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.
