Members of the Institute of Tourism of the Region of Murcia and directors of the main tourist offices of the Region have met these days in Cieza to contemplate the flowering.

The main municipal tourist offices in the Region of Murcia will be presenting the peculiarities of the flowering of Cieza, offering the services and attractions of Cieza in this month and a half in which Cieza has become a must-see destination for visitors to the Region.

The Mayor of Cieza, Pascual Lucas, and the Councillor for Tourism, Antonio Moya, received a large group of technicians responsible for these offices in the plenary hall of the Town Hall, who were thanked for their visit to Cieza and the work they are going to do to promote the Flowering of Cieza.

A little earlier, the members of the delegation, which was also joined by the team of Murcia Today (news portal in English), were able to familiarise themselves with the tourist offer of Cieza, starting logically with the flowering and continuing with a visit to the Folklore Centre, the Hermitage of San Bartolomé, the Balcón del Muro and the Paseo Ribereño.

This familiarization visit was part of the Quality System implemented in the Network of Tourist Offices of the Region of Murcia, of which Cieza has been a part since 2002.
The Tourism Institute of the Region of Murcia, through its Quality Department, has congratulated the Cieza City Council for the management and coordination of the visit.
The Tourism Institute, at the initiative of the Department of Tourism, is being fundamental in supporting the Flowering of Cieza, proof of this is the dissemination and promotion they have carried out with a special on the same in the tourist portal.
