• The presentation ceremony will take place next Friday, October 9, at 8 p.m., in the auditorium of the IES Diego Tortosa de Cieza (Avenida Juan XXIII, nº 47).

• The book is published by the La Floración Cultural Association and features photographs by Fernando Galindo and texts by Bartolomé Marcos. It was financed with European funds from the Leader Plan.

The auditorium of the IES Diego Tortosa in Cieza will be the chosen setting to present the book that summarises the best of the professional career of the photographer and professor of Drawing Fernando Galindo who, for more than 25 years, has developed an intense activity with his camera in the dissemination and promotion of the visual spectacle of the flowering of the fruit trees of Cieza.

The book is divided into different sections and shows, through images and texts, different perspectives of the flowering of Cieza. The 750 copies of this edition will be used as promotional material at national and international fairs, and will be sent to prestigious libraries and study centres in Spain and abroad.

The Cultural Association La Floración has been responsible for publishing the book, which consists of 180 pages and is made up of an exquisite layout and design.

 The presentation event will take place in the auditorium of the IES Diego Tortosa in Cieza from 8 pm, and will be attended by the mayor of Cieza, Pascual Lucas, as well as the Minister of Agriculture and Environment, Adela Martínez Cachá. During the event, which will be open to the public until full capacity is reached, the pages of the book will be projected with explanations from its authors.
