It has been the first weekend of flowering, and all expectations of visitor attendance have been met, as more than 80 people have signed up for the Flowering Route organized by Agromarketing<\/a>, who spent Saturday and Sunday days in the countryside enjoying the first shoots of flowering.<\/p>\n

Organised tours every weekend have become the usual way of visiting places in bloom, making it easier for \u201cflowering tourists\u201d to get around by taking them to the places that are in their best moment so that visitors do not have to go looking for the ideal places, being able to make the most of the time they have.<\/p>\n

In addition to the people of Cieza, who are increasingly encouraged to take the guided tour, this first weekend there have been visitors from different parts of the Region, specifically from Cartagena, Murcia capital, Puerto Lumbreras... and even English residents in Alicante who brought a translator who explained to them the details of what they were seeing.<\/p>\n

After touring various flowering areas, the attendees enjoyed a wonderful day at the La Floraci\u00f3n estate, where they enjoyed a country lunch offered to them at the Peach Interpretation Centre, where they were also able to learn much more about the history and customs of our traditional agriculture and the Cieza peach.<\/p>\n\"floracion\n\n \n

Organized routes every weekend<\/strong><\/p>\n

From now on we have to get used to seeing groups of visitors travelling along rural roads and stopping at strategic places to take photos of these colourful landscapes which are then shared on social media. This year, it is expected that there will be a record number of visitors, something which will be favoured by what is anticipated to be the best flowering in recent years.<\/p>\n

It is already the time of the almond trees, but also early nectarine and peach trees that have been thinned out in some places have already blossomed, offering spectacular views of the flowers that leave a characteristic pinkish blanket on the ground, which never ceases to surprise visitors.<\/p>\n
